Today I am trying out a new kind of post- rather than a photo of the outfit I am wearing, this is a collage of 3 outfits I created at Plato's Closet with jacket that is a very popular style for fall. Please ignore the writing on the bottom- that was for the facebook page I am in charge of. If anyone has any questions, I would love to answer them! Hope you enjoy!

Red, Black, and White
Well this outfit looks familiar from a little over a week ago in Minnesota, but rather than using my black and white cardigan I added the lace vest from the Mall of America to make the outfit more applicable to summer. The red tank top is from Plato's Closet, my trusty shorts are from Hot Topic, and the vest is from a store called The Garage.

Another version of gypsy
Sorry about the lull in posts! I am back from Minnesota, safe and sound, and today was my first day back at work in over a week, so I thought I'd start back with a brand new outfit. I bought the top at Charlotte Russe and the maxi skirt from Forever 21, totally about $35 together. I'd say this skirt could go with almost any neutral top, and the bandeau could be paired with almost any skirt- perhaps I will be posting some more outfits with these pieces sometime soon.

On the boardwalk.
You may recognize this cardigan from yesterday's post, but you also may be too distracted by the gorgeous lake in the background. Today my wonderful husband took me on a date to Waconia and out to eat at Lola's Lakehouse. Pictured is the boardwalk behind Lola's, and as I said yesterday, I am wearing an H&M cardigan, along with some shorts from Hot Topic, and a tank top from the Plato's Closet here in Eden Prairie.

Yet another dress from Togs.
Here we have another $10 dress from Togs. When I tried this on, the belt was not included and the dress looked somewhat like a patterned bag. Luckily, I tried it with a belt, and fell in love with it. The belt is from Target and came in a two pack with a black copy for $14. I imagine this dress would look great with some nude or tan heels, and the dress has a beaded collar so there is no need for a necklace.

New necklace
Well I have posted this outfit before, but today I have a new necklace to add to my closet. The necklace is originally from Icing, but I found it at Plato's Closet for $3. If you are interested in the outfit, just look at my older posts.

The gold and the beautiful.
If you may forgive the title- I ran out of clever ideas and this is all I had. As for the outfit, remember the fabulous place I mentioned that had both a boutique and a coffee shop in one convenient location? Well I visited Shop-A-Latte and Togs again the other day, and this dress(which I had drooled over on my last visit) was conveniently on sale for only $10! I bought this and one other dress which I hope to debut soon, and I added my own Forever 21 belt and Betseyville necklace. I feel particularly fancy in this dress, and imagine I would wear it to a dinner party if the opportunity ever arose. Not pictured is the high-low skirt and sheer back.

Not the same old song and dance.
Some of you may recognize this outfit, but I changed up the hair, added my black necklace, and changed from a plain black tank top to a blue bandeau from Forever 21 (which I got for $8!). I personally like this outfit better than the other version, but either way is adorable : )

Kisses
Today I've got a dress of kisses from, where else- Hot Topic. That, combined with some silver tipped black flats from JCPenney and a black statement necklace from a thrift store in Central City. I did try the dress with a denim vest, and it looked pretty decent, but I liked the dress alone better. I think adding some tights and a leather jacket would be perfect for winter too.

Black and floral... as always.
Here we have a simple black dress and a pair of floral wedges. It looks as though I have a flower headband on, but actually it is the painting behind my head, so ignore that. The wedges are Decree from JCPenny's and the dress is from Plato's Closet. I thought the zipper detailing on the dress and the wedges were enough detailing to avoid any loud accessories. This outfit is perfect to throw on, and the wedge is very easy to walk in all day.

Sweet and Classy
Unfortunately, I am at the point where, unless I get a new outfit, I have posted most of my better outfits. This means I might be posting a little less, but it also means I will need to be a little more creative. Today I am posting a picture of a lovely woman in a very classy outfit. The dress is from Plato's closet, and she matched it with a long turquoise necklace and a pair of black heels. Any other color would look great with this dress, as would a skinny belt around the waist.

Curioser & Curiouser
Today I am wearing the most amazing leggings I have ever seen in my life. I bought the leggings at Hot Topic without a clue as to what I would wear them with. Luckily, I came across this skater skirt on sale in JCPennys for $10, and the top for $5, making the outfit total $40 when you add the $5 necklace from a thrift store- crazy, right? : )

Togs
Not a lot to say today, but here is the promised dress from Togs. I couldn't find any jewelry to dress it up today, but I know the look would be much better with a good statement necklace. The colors on the skirt are also much more pronounced in person, but the pattern is enough to stand on its own without a ton of accessories.

Leather or Floral? How 'bout both?
I know yesterday I promised my new dress, but this morning I ended up going with a shirt Alex bought me and my leather shorts. The shorts were actually pants that have been cut off, and are from Scout in Omaha. The shirt was a splurge from the Buckle, but hopefully I will wear it enough to be worth it. The combo of floral and leather is perfect for someone trying to mix edgy and girly. The lace is another girly touch, but I mixed it with some combat boots which are not pictured in order to balance it out.
Shop A Latte
Today's post is 1/4th outfit, and 3/4th my trip to Shop A Latte, located in Togs in Omaha, NE. This is Nebraska's only coffee shop combined with a clothing store, and I honestly will be back every time I am in the area. The store starts out with the coffee shop entrance and has a lovely Audrey Hepburn inspired feel, complete with adorable fashion named drinks. I enjoyed a Black N White latte, but those looking to complete the big city feeling should try the Audrey Hepburn latte. Coffee in hand, I headed into the shop and was amazed by the gorgeous jewelry and clothing. I tried on clothes for at least 30 minutes, and finally settled on a floral and leather dress, as well as a black and gold statement necklace, both for about $50- a little much, but worth it to me. I think I will wear that dress tomorrow, for those interested, and here is the link to Shop A Latte's facebook- https://www.facebook.com/ShopaLatte. The outfit has been worn before, but I changed up the tank top and the necklace. The tank is from Delia's, and both the skirt and necklace are from Plato's Closet.
